Women's Cricket: First tour for South Africa

ENGLAND will play five one-day internationals, including one at Lord's, when South Africa make their first tour of England, next August.

The vistors, who have been drawn in England's group for the World Cup in India at the end of 1997, have never played in a one-day series.

S AFRICA TOUR.- Aug 15: 1st one-day int'nal, Gloucs CCC. Aug 17: 2nd int'nal, Somerset CCC. Aug 20: 3rd int'nal, Lord's. Aug 27: 4th int'nal, Hinckley Town CC. Aug 30: 5th int'nal, Campbell Park, Northants.
