Captain's report on Afridi being awaited

LAHORE, Aug 7: The reports from captain Ramiz Hassan Raja and head of team's self-disciplinary committee Salim Malik about Shahid Afridi are being awaited by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), it was reliably learnt on Thursday.

Shahid Afridi had been alleged to have teased some girls during the flight when the Pakistan senior cricket team was returning to Karachi after participating in the fifth Asia Cup Cricket Tournament in Sri Lanka.

On Thursday, all-rounder Shahid Afridi proceeded to Saudi Arabia to perform 'Umra'.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) secretary Waqar Ahmad said that reports of the team manager Zaheer Abbas and the coach Haroon Rashid about Shahid Afridi's incident had been received and passed on to the Disciplinary Committee headed by the former Test opener Talat Ali Malik. Reports from Ramiz Raja and Salim Malik would also be forwarded to the committee, which would adjudicate over the matter.
