Sri Lanka displaced

Australia has displaced the World one day champions Sri Lanka in the latest rankings for the CEAT International cricket team of the year. Sri Lanka who were heading the standings last month have gone down to the second spot after drawing their three-Test series against India, according to the standings released by R. S. Hartley and Co.

Australia has gained a total of 43 points while Sri Lanka and Pakistan are tied in the second place with 36 points each. Pakistan has climbed two steps ahead after winning their three-Test series against the West Indies in style 3-0. Pakistan gained 20 points alone from this series where they won the first two Tests by an innings and the third by ten wickets.

In the fourth place is South Africa with 27 points, followed by England (20), Zimbabwe (18), India (16), New Zealand (13) and West Indies (10). The CEAT World rankings are based on both Test and one day internationals. Ragama CC - two wins in Div. II cricket
