KENYA v ZIMBABWE
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1997

At Patna, February 27. Zimbabwe won by five wickets. Toss: Zimbabwe.

In the second match Flower asked Kenya to bat and dismissed them for a mere 134 as they unsuccessfully tried to hit out. Leg-spinner Paul Strang, continuing to enjoy the turn and bounce of Indian pitches, finished them off with five for 21, the best return for his country in a limited-overs international, while his brother Bryan took two. The Zimbabwean openers got off to a brisk start, with 59 in 13 overs. Though the middle order stumbled against Rajab Ali, Grant Flower made easily the highest score of the match and Zimbabwe were home with nearly eight overs to spare. It was to be Zimbabwe's only win of the tournament.

Man of the Match: P. A. Strang.
