Akram Leads CEAT Ratings

Pakistan captain Wasim Akram continued to head the latest CEAT International Cricketer of the year ratings issued in Mumbai. The CEAT International cricketer of the year rankings are monitored by a special three-member committee headed by former Indian captain Sunil Gaveskar.

Akram has gained a total of 62 points while Tendulkar has an aggregate of 40 points. Indians Anil Kumble and Nayan Mongia share the third place with 35 points each. The winner of the CEAT International cricketer of the year ratings, based on the international cricketers in Test and one day matches from May 1 to April 30 in the following year, will get USD 15,000/-.
