Pakistan: First-class matches to start from Saturday

LAHORE, Nov 14: First-class cricket matches, which were to begin
on Fridays, will now start from Saturdays according to
reschedule. According to an announcement by a PCB spokesman,
somemore changes have been made in the programme which had been
chalked out at the start of the current cricket season.
The matches of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy which were scheduled to
begin from Nov 28 will now start on Nov 29, Dec 5's matches on
December 6, Dec 26 on Dec 27 and Jan 2 on 3. Besides all the
matches of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy which had to start on Jan 23
will now be played from Jan 17. The final will be played from
February 7 to 11 instead of Jan 23 to 26. Similarly the matches
of the Patron's Trophy which had to start from Nov 21 now will
begin on Nov 22, Dec 12 matches on Dec 13, Dec 19 on Dec 20 and
Jan 9 on Jan 10.
