After the current quadrangular tournament in Pakistan, Sri Lanka are down to compete in one day international tournaments in South Africa and England in the next 20 months. * The Carlton & United World Series Cup triangular tournament will go ahead uninterrupted following the decision of the Australian Cricketers Association (ACA) not to take an immediate union action over their pay demands. A senior Australian Cricket Board official said they have finalised all arrangements for the WSC tourney.
The three-nation tournament will be worked off in Australia from December 4 to January 27 next year. Besides the hosts Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are the other two teams taking part. The annual triangular tournament starts with a match between Australia and South Africa in Sydney on December 4. All matches, except for the fifth preliminary round match between New Zealand and South Africa in Hobart on December 11, will be day/night games.
