CRICKET: Carlton Baugh Jnr with an attacking 109 and Christopher Hopwood with six wickets for 44 runs highlighted yesterday's first day of the Sunlight Cup Group B semi-final round between Bridgeport Comprehensive and Wolmer's Boys at Bridgeport.
In the other semi-final former champions St. George's College and Jonathan Grant High were locked in a close battle at Emmet Park.

Sent into bat, pacer Sheldon Smith and spinner Ramon Hutchinson rocked Jonathan Grant's batting by claiming four wickets for 43 runs from 18 overs and three for 32 from 19 overs respectively as the Spanish Town team was bundled out on the stroke of tea.
Jonathan Grant got off to a bad start losing opening batsman Gerald Morgan with the score on nine when he became Smith's first victim bowled for seven.
Andre O'Sullivan and opener Leroy Wilson completed a 51-run stand before the former went for 34. Tamar Lambert, the Jonathan Grant captain, did not last long. He was caught behind for four.
Wilson who retired hurt on 31 with the score on 92 for six, came back to be top scorer with 35, while other useful contributions came from Roshane Ferron (17) and Greg Hare (14).
St. George's openers Renaldo Fletcher (7) and Richard Gordon (20) put on 27 before leg spinner Leon Rodney claimed three quick as five wickets fell for only 17 runs. When badlight stopped play the match was interestingly poised.
