Radiant Total cricket launched in Delhi

India will witness a new concept in Academics with the launch of Radiant Total Cricket. To be headed by Duleep Mendis as Director cum Ambassador the academy will officially go in for selection of students from the age of seven years.

Duleep Mendis, the former Sri Lankan captain and Manager of world cup winning Sri Lankan team in 1996 at the launch of Radiant Total Cricket in the capital today said. ``The idea is to get a base to train. We are looking at 400 students playing in various centres all over Delhi in an years time.

``The idea is to start an approach to the game with basic skill and mental approach. More stress would be on mental and physical attributes of a player'', said Lalith Kaluperuma, Deputy to Duleep Mendis at the academy.

The boys selected would be sent to various schools with the first batch going to Playmakers academy. The boys would be provided training by Indian coaches under Duleep's guidance. Several top cricketers would be training and giving tips to youngsters.
