The players are Saeed Azad and Farhan Adil - both stylish and talented middle-order batsmen.
Azad represented Pakistan in the Kenya quadrangular tournament two years ago while Adil has played for Pakistan Under-19 and A teams.
The selectors had earlier asked Zahid Fazal of PIA and Ijaz Mahmood of WAPDA to join the camp being staged in Lahore in connection with preparations for the Commonwealth Games and Sahara Cup.
The camp is expected to get into full swing on Friday when Javed Miandad begins his unspecified tenure as senior team coach. Miandad is expected to reach Lahore from England on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, Basit Ali has pulled out of the Commonwealth Games team after his brother suffered a heart attack here last week.
Ali informed the chief selector of his inability to proceed to Kuala Lumpur with the Pakistan A team for the Commonwealth Games on Wednesday.
His place in expected to be grabbed by discarded Test batsman Zahid Fazal who was earlier overlooked by the selectors when naming the team for Kuala Lumpur where last month he played for Pakistan A in the Super-8 tournament.
However, it was still unclear if the Games organizers would allow Pakistan to make a change in the cricket team.
