And in celebration of this achievement, the 65-year-old Woods is holding a family day at the Balandra Recreation ground, Toco Road, tomorrow from 11 a.m.
The event will also commemorate the life and times of Issac Carter, now deceased, who was responsible for developing sport in Balandra. Cricket will be the order of the day with eight teams involved, six in the veterans category, and two in women's action.
Among the teams scheduled to take part in the veteran's category are Queen's Park, who will be led by Bryan Davis, Family Affair under Aldwyn Hislop and a Lawrence Woods XI.
Specialist Sports will also meet Balandra Sporting Girls in a windball matchup in the lone women's game.
