KARACHI, Dec 7: A two-member Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) delegation will visit India next week to finalize next year's three-Test and five one-day international series.

The chairman of the PCB, Khalid Mahmood, and chief executive Majid Khan will leave for New Delhi on Dec 14 and will discuss the pre-tour issues with their counterparts on Dec 15.

Majid Khan told Dawn on Monday from Lahore that three issues will be on the agenda of the meeting.

``Asian Test Championship, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Trophy and Pakistan's Test tour of India would be discussed in New Delhi,'' he said.

The former Pakistan captain said the timing of the three events has to be discussed.

``So far Pakistan's tour of India is on. But there is also a suggestion to stage the two other events between January and April. Now it is to be finalized how to organize the three events in the available three-month period,'' Majid said.

In April, India and Pakistan are scheduled to participate in Sharjah tournament along with England and maybe Sri Lanka. In May, the World Cup extravaganza begins.

According to tentative itinerary of the Indian tour, Pakistan reach there on Jan 21 and end the tour on March 16.

Majid added that the venues of Pakistan's matches in India would also be finalized during the meeting and hoped that the itinerary would be released as soon as officials of both the countries reached a consensus.
