Tyronne Fernando Barrister-at-Law, former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka, Minister of Media in the United National Party has published his sixth book. Proceeds from the sale of his new book ``Kings of Cricket'' will go to the Colombo South Cricket School and other projects involved in the development of the game.

President's Counsel Tyronne Fernando's first book was on sensational Pauline de Croos who was convicted of the murder of six year old Gotabaya Kirimbakanda in the late sixties.

The book that makes very good reading and has a fascinating chapter on the History of Cricket in Sri Lanka with the painting of the first cricket field -- Galle Face green as a bonus and has other details of the growth of cricket hitherto unknown to the public. The book that has been described as a must to all cricket lovers by none other than Ali Bacher, Chairman, Development Committee International Cricket Council, is full of interesting comments by one who will have to be thanked for the popularity of the game in Sri Lanka and the image of our teams overseas.
