Condolence Message on Raman Lamba's death by PCB
PCB - 25 February 1998

Pakistan Cricket Board condoled the death of Raman Lamba a former Indian Test Cricketer, who received a fatal injury when a ball hit him in the head while playing a match in Bangladesh. Raman Lamba was a very versatile and entertaining batsman who delighted the crowd with his cavalier approach to the game during his visit to Pakistan with the Indian Cricket Team in 1989.
In a message to Mr. Rajsingh Dangarpur, President of the Indian Cricket Board, the Chairman, Chief Executive and members of the PCB have expressed their sentiments of sorrow and grief on the tragic death of such an enterprising cricketer. The Indian Cricket Board been requested to convey the feeling of the PCB officials to the family of late Raman Lamba.
