KARACHI, Jan 1: Wasim Akram returned from England on New Year's
eve after a check-up for his injured shoulder. The speedster
said the latest injury had nothing to do with the operated
bowling shoulder. ``It is a muscular injury near the neck,'' he
said from Lahore.
``The specialist was satisfied with the surgery and the way the
injury has responded to the treatment. He said the new injury
had nothing to do with it. It is a great relief,'' he said.
Akram said he had informed from England about his inability to
under take the tour of Dhaka. ``The doctor advised me two-week
rest so I informed the concerned official about it.
``I want to play cricket and enjoy it,'' he said.
