``Apart from captain (Courtney) Walsh and (Franklyn) Rose, our bowlers did not bowl particularly well. Had they bowled a better line and length, we would now be in a good position to win the game,'' said the former West Indies captain and batting star who is still hoping that Jamaica will win.
``The game is far from over,'' continued Kanhai. ``In fact, it is interestingly poised. We just have to wait and see, but we can still win it.''
One of the batsmen who held up Jamaica yesterday was Roland Holder who scored 82 not out. Despite Holder's performance however, Barbados manager Tony Howard is still not satisfied with the newly laid Sabina Park pitch.
``Although it has dried out a bit and playing a bit better, it is still not up to mark and not good enough for a Test match which starts just over two weeks from now,'' said the former Test offspinner.
Looking at today's possibilities, Howard believes that Barbados can still win it.
``Thanks to (Sherwin) Campbell, Holder, and (Horace) Waldon who stuck it out, we have a lead of 100 runs already, we hope to improve on that, and if we do anything can happen.''
