The duo will inspect the pitch, already laid out by the local authority, and will also look into other facilities including accommodation and transport.
Earlier Alam, who is also responsible for preparing the Dhaka Stadium, venue of the knock-out tournament involving the nine Test-playing nations, visited Sylhet, the tea city which is likely to be entertained by the second match. But a decision regarding the venues will be finalised in the next Board meeting on August 21.
It was learnt that Bangla-desh will play their first match on October 26 against the losing side of the tournament's opener, the fixture of which is yet to be finalised by the games ruling body ICC. But the date of the second is yet to be decided.
`` We have already confirmed the fixture of the first match. But we are working on holding the second one which we are hopeful of organising during the tournament'', said Dewan Shafiul Arefin Tutul, a joint-secretary of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
