Batting first in a rain reduced 25-over-a-side affair, Narayanganj scored 105 for eight with Mridul hammering highest 26. Among others, Zia scored 18 while Munna added 15 to the winners' credit.
In reply, Comilla were reeling at 64 for six when they refused to play after 20 overs' play citing bad light. But the umpires did not agree with the Comilla skipper and declared Narayanganj as the winners.
Narayanganj will now face last year's runners-up Biman in the second semifinal. The first semifinal, a three-day affair, between holders Chittagong and Rajshahi will begin at the same venue today.
