Kamalranjan shines for Puttalam DCA
In the inter-region under-19 tournament conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka. F. Kamalranjan Prasadh Fernando of Puttalam District Cricket Association was picked 'Man of the Series'.
Puttalam DCA and Gampaha DCA combined to meet Colombo A and C in the finals and lost by 7 wickets, played over the weekend at Colts Cricket Grounds.
Kamalranjan who plays for Wennappuwa Sports Club, a member of the PDCA, recieved Rs. 10,000 as prize money. He is a student of Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa.
