Sandals Resorts International have put up a cash award of $60,000 for the winners of the competition with $40,000 going to the runners-up. The man-of-the-final will receive $5,000 and the man-of-the match in each game will receive $1,000.
Seven-time champions Melbourne will host St. James at Melbourne Oval, in one of the opening games on Saturday.
The competition is divided into four groups. The winners of each group will advance to the semi-finals.
Group A - Hanover, Jamaica Defence Force, Westmoreland, St. Elizabeth and Trelawny. Group B - Manchester, Clarendon, Melbourne, St. James and St. Ann. Group C - St. Catherine Club, Lucas, St. Mary, Tivoli and Boys' Town. Group D - Kingston, Police, Portland, St. Catherine Parish and St. Thomas.
The games scheduled for Saturday are Hanover vs Jamaica Defence Force at Rusea's Comprehensive School, Westmoreland vs Trelawny at Allan Rae Oval, Manchester vs Clarendon, Melbourne vs St. James at Melbourne Oval, Boys' Town vs Lucas at Kensington Park, St. Catherine Cricket Club vs Kensington at Chedwin Park, St. Mary vs Tivoli at Gray's Inn, Police vs Portland at Elletson Road, St. Thomas vs St. Catherine Parish at Goodyear Oval.
All matches begin at 10 a.m.
