Schoolboy cricketer Michael Andrews showed his England heroes how to
play - by staging a super-show with both ball and bat. The 10
year-old, from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, scored 241 not out in 100
minutes before taking two wickets to help demolish the opposition
during the match for Birchfield School's 1st XI. He hit 11 sixes and
30 fours from just 124 deliveries and Christopher Lane, managing
director of cricketer's bible Wisden, told the Daily Mail it was ``a
very exceptional innings and the best I've ever heard of for a boy his
age''.
