Thurstan through

Thurstan College U-17 chalked up another victory when they beat Dharmapala Vidyalaya by 12 runs, at Pannipitiya recently.

N. Randika top scored for Thurstan with 78. I. Indula did similarly for Dharmapala also with 78.

CB's regional office opens in Kandy

The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka will open the first of its Regional Board Offices when Board No. 2 (Kandy Region) will be declared open by the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri lanka, Thilanga Sumathipala on Thursday May 21 at 3.30 p.m. at the Asgiriya International Stadium, Kandy.

President of the Kandy District CA, Thilina Tennakoon will function as Chairman while Mr. Janaka Pathirana will be the secretary. In addition to this there will also be an Administrative Officer.

This Regional Office will handle all matters relating to cricket and activities of the Cricket Board in the region of kandy, Kegalle and Nuwara Eliya.
