Condolences on the sad demise of Abdul Aziz Khan's (Test Umpire) father & at the death of Ghulam Ahmed (Former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team)

The Chairman, Chief Executive, Officials of the PCB and members of the Pakistan Cricket Team felt highly grieved on the sad demise of Abdul Aziz Khan father of umpire Saddique Khan. They expressed their sentiments of sorrow and grief on the tragedy that occurred on the eve of One-Day International against Australia in Lahore for which Mr. Siddique Khan had been nominated as the reserve umpire. May almighty God give the departed soul a place in the heavens.

The PCB official also expressed their sorrow on the death of Ghulam Ahmed a former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team who expired recently. Ghulam Ahmed was a distinguished off spinner of his times and an administrator of the game who later became secretary of the Indian Cricket Board. He was maternal uncle of former Pakistan Captain Asif Iqbal.
