The competition was sponsored by the Airways along with several national dailies, says a press release.
Renowned cricket columnist Raquibul Hasan drew the names of the winners in presence of a group of journalists from different newspapers at a simple ceremony at Airspan Ltd, GSA, for Uzbekistan Airways in Bangladesh.
Over 25,00 entries were received for the competition.
Md Jahangir Hossain, 1785, K Ali Sarder Road, Purbo Jurain, Dhaka-1204, was the lucky winner of the first prize of Dhaka-London-Dhaka air ticket on Uzbekistan Airways.
Subash Datta, 110, Tanti Bazar (5th Floor), Dhaka-1100, won the second prize of Dhaka-Tashkent-Dhaka air ticket on the airline.
The winners of the 10 consolation prizes are: Md Anisur Rahman, Md Nazmul Alam, Jashim Uddin, Z H Shahed, Kazal Kumar Mozumder, Tareq Martuza, M Baharul Alam (Saki), Md Ali Nur, A K M Mustafizur Rahman and Mahmud Alam.
