Bangladesh national side take on the touring West Indies A team in the first limited over cricket match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday. The day-night match will start at 2 pm.
Bishop said they expect a very good match with Bangladesh, who are the ICC Trophy champions and due to play in the 1999 England World Cup.
During their 10-day visit, the Caribbean side will play two more limited over matches, including one at northern Rajshahi, and a three-dayer in the capital Dhaka.
The 14-member West Indies A team arrived in Dhaka Friday morning. Three others Reon King, Rawl Lewis and Neil McGarrell, who were part of the West Indies team in the Wills International Cup, stayed back here.
Former West Indian spinner Roger Harper will look as manager until full time manager Joel Garner joins the team in about a week. The junior Calypsos will fly to India after touring Bangladesh.
