Windies 'A' team due tomorrow

The West Indies 'A' cricket team will arrive in the capital tomorrow on a ten-day tour.

Veteran fast bowler Ian Bishop will lead the 13-member second string side to play three one-day matches and a three-day match against Bangladesh.

Among the three one-dayers, two matches will be held in Dhaka and the other in Rajshahi. The limited-over matches in Dhaka on November 7 and 10 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium will be day-night affairs.

The Caribbean team with a blend of youth and experience will play the other limited-over match at the Rajshahi Stadium on November 9. The three-day match starts on November 12 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

The West Indies 'A' will leave the city for their month-long tour to India on November 15.

The squad:

Ian Bishop (captain), Sherwin Campbell, Floyd Riefer, Keith Sample, Adrian Griffith, Wayne Philip, Courtney Brown (wicketkeeper), Carl Tuckett, Wavel Hinds, Pedro Collins, Neil McGarrel, Rawl Lewis and Reon King.
