Pakistan: Patron's Trophy Grade-I Four ties begin today

KARACHI, Oct 23: The second round matches in the Patron's Trophy Grade-I National Cricket Championship start from tomorrow (Saturday) at four different centres.

Reigning champions Habib Bank take on last season's runners-up Allied Bank at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Mian Mohammad Aslam and Siddique Khan will supervised the four-day clash while Naseer Malik is the match referee.

PIA, who beat Allied Bank in the first round, face National Bank at the Gadhafi Stadium, Lahore. Athar Zaidi and Rab Nawaz are the umpires with Ashraf Ali as the match referee.

Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) meet last season's Grade-II runners-up WAPDA, who earned a belated promotion to Grade-I, at the Sheikhupura Stadium. Mohammad Nazir Junior and Said Shah officiate as umpires while Ehteshamuddin is the match referee.

Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), who lost Pakistan Customs earlier in the week after obtaining first innings lead, play Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) at the KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi. Iftikhar Malik and Afzaal Ahmed are the umpires while the match referee is Ali Zia.
