The winning team would receive 100,000 dollars while the runners-up would get 60,000 dollars. The losing semifinalists would be richer by 30,000 dollars each while winning a quarterfinal match would be worth 20,000 dollars, they said.
All the nine participating teams, would collect 15,000 dollars for taking part in the knockout tournament, the International Cricket Council's fund-raising competition.
A total of 5,000 dollars had been set aside for eight player-of-the-match awards during the tournament.
