The inter-club cricketers' transfer for the 1998-99 season will be held from November 10 to 13. This was disclosed after the first meeting of the newly-formed Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolitan (CCDM) at the BCB office last night.

Although the BCB had earlier fixed the date of cricketers' transfer from October 10 to 13 while announcing the annual domestic calendar last month, the CCDM shifted the date following requests from representatives of the Dhaka based clubs.

Chaired by Tanveer Haider, chairman, of the CCDM, the meeting also decided to start the Damal Smriti tournament, the season's curtain raiser, in the last week of November.

The Premier Division cricket league, the most colourful event involving twelve teams, is likely to begin in the second week of December. Unlike previous years, the Primier Division league matches will be 80-over-a-side affairs this year and played on a single league basis.
