Bangladesh: BCB XI lose friendly game Our Sports Reporter - 11 April 1999 Anfords English Cricket Club of Pakistan beat Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Eleven by 13 runs in a friendly match at the Aga Khan Gymkhana ground in Karachi on Friday. After being sent in to bat, the local side scored 153 runs before they were all out in 34.4 in the 35-over-a-side game. Mohammad Hasnain made a magnificent 66 while Mafizur Rahman was the most successful BCB bowler, finishing with three for 29 off his seven overs. In reply, the tourists were bowled out for 140 in 34.3 overs, skipper Habibul Bashar made highest 44 while Javed Omar chipped in with 17. Hasnain was again the Anfords star as he scalped four BCB batsmen for only 18 runs in his quota of seven overs. He was later adjudged man-of-the-match.
