Coca Cola runner's-up trophy - India

The triangular One-Day International Tournament played in India between Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan was concluded recently. The Lanka Women's XI returned home with the handsome Coca Cola runner's-up trophy of the Silver Jubilee celebrations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Women's Cricket Association of Lucknow, India. Pakistan withdrew at the last moment due to security reasons. Above is the Trophy the Lanka Women's XI won.

Panadura beat Moors narrowly

Panadura SC registered a narrow first innings points win over Moors SC in their Premier championship match concluded at Panadura on Sunday.

Moors replying to Panadura's 159, were dismissed for 156 with Chamath Perera taking 4 for 39 off 15 overs. In their second innings Panadura made 252 for 9 by stumps.

SSC-Matara - abandoned

SSC's Premier championship match against Matara SC was abandoned when the uncovered pitch at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara proved unplayable during the Matara first innings on Sunday.

There was no play on the second day due to rain. SSC made 215 for 6 declared and in reply Matara made 22 for one.
