Enjoining order re: BCCSL

We wish to inform our readers that the news we have published in connection with the enjoining order issued on the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka was basically on the order made by the District Judge of Colombo.

However we are continuously receiving different opinions for and against the issue from various parties.

As the issue is already before court and being subjudice, we are unable to publicise the aforesaid views until a final determination is made by court.

Wedding bells will ring for former Trinity College cricketer and Ryde Gold Medalist Narendra Athuraliya when he marries Anula Tamara Breckenridge at Trinity College chapel today (April 9, Friday) at 5 p.m.

Narendra is the son of former Royal College cricketer Dr. Deva Athuraliya and Tamara is the daughter of the present Trinity College Principal Prof. W. R. Breckenridge.
