CP in BET Under-15 final The Barbados Nation - 26 August 1999 Coleridge and Parry (CP) are through to the final of the Cable and Wireless BET Under-15 Cricket Competition. They advanced yesterday after defeating St. James by ten wickets at Trents. This means that they leapfrogged defending champions Deighton Griffith and Harrison College after the final round of zonal matches was completed yesterday. CP won Zone B with an unofficial 43 points to pip Deighton Griffith, on 41, and Harrison College, who finished on 41 as well after their match against Alleyne ended in a no-decision at Crumpton Street yesterday Alexandra topped Zone A with an unofficial 59 points and put themselves in line for the final on September 7-9 ahead of second-placed Garrison, who finished with 58 points. But Garrison have protested the outcome of their rain-affectedmatch against St. Lucy and are seeking full points and confirmation of the finalist will have to await their appeal. Alexandra, Garrison and third-placed St. Leonard's (55 points) all won easily yesterday. CP have a protest similar to Garrison in respect of their match against Parkinson. Some of the wickets were rain affected yesterday and Grantley Adams and St. James recorded the day's lowest scores of 29 and 17 respectively. Summarised scores: At Foundation: Foundation 152-6 dec. Lester Vaughn 44 (S. Massiah 17; A. Carter 3-5, S. Pinder 2-4, A. Holder 2-6, R. Shankar 2-8) and 72 (R. Holder 20, R. Mayers 12; Ravi Shankar 5-25, A. Carter 4-14). Foundation won by an innings and 36 runs. At Alexandra: Princess Margaret 167 and 85 (A. McCollin 22, N. Moseley 14, D. Brathwaite 13, J. Pilgrim 12; Kirk Broomes 8-40: 60 wickets for season, J. Worrell 2-7) Alexandra 209-7 dec (Barrington Yearwood 67, K. Broomes 30 n.o; D. Brathwaite 4-43) and 44-2 (J. Worrell 15, C. Stanford 12 n.o; D. Brathwaite 2-13). Alexandra won by eight wickets. At YMPC: Grantley Adams 76 and 29 (S. Holder 4-6, C. Scantlebury 3-16). Garrison 110-5 dec. (Shawn Crichlow 70, C. Scantlebury 23). Garrison won by an innings and five runs. At Eyrie: St. Giles 23 and 129 (Laron Randolph 54, M. Maloney 14, J. Nurse 13, K. Small 10; D. Davis 4-35, R. Prescod 2-18). St. Leonard's 61-2 dec and 92-2 (Dadrian Forde 51 n.o., M. Rock 15 n.o., D. Grant 11). St. Leonard's won by eight wickets. At Trents: St. James 99 (C. Bovell 26, D. Broomes 31, K. Scott 10; Ryan Thorpe 5-16, D. Dottin 3-12) and 17 (K. Lewis 11, Derwin Worrell 5-7) Coleridge and Parry 101 (D. Worrell 33, A. Greaves 20; J. Mayers 6-21) and 18-0. Coleridge and Parry won by 10 wickets. At St. Stephen's: Ellerslie 93-0 (Kevin Stoute 67 n.o – 375 runs for the season, A. Small 18 n.o) v Parkinson.
