ACB Fans offered free entry to Pura Milk Cup cricket
Australian Cricket Board - 9 December 1999

Cricket fans can now attend Pura Milk Cup matches free of charge, following a promotion announced by the ACB and Pura Milk today.

By taking two cartons of Pura white milk to a Pura Milk Cup match, the first 250 patrons through the gate each day will receive free entry.

The promotion begins today in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and is valid for all preliminary matches up to the end of the 1999/2000 season.

ACB Chief Executive Malcolm Speed said the new promotion was a great initiative from the competition's new sponsor.

"This initiative is an example of the benefit Pura Milk's sponsorship is bringing to the competition," he said.

The promotion follows last week's announcement of another Pura Milk/ACB initiative, the Pura Milk Man of the Match award. This trophy, which has not previously been available at this level, awards the best player of each Pura Milk Cup match.

"Pura Milk is quickly going about its objective to improve the competition both for players and spectators," Mr Speed said.
