Dawn Inzamam cleared by doctors
Our Special Representative - 19 February 1999

CALCUTTA, Feb 18: Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq underwent another check-up for a suspected heart attack during the third day's play at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.

A heart specialist visited the stadium during the second session's play and conducted medical check-ups before giving a clean bill of health to the batsman who is flying out tonight for Lahore.

Haq had faced a similar problem during the first Test at Chennai when he left the field on the third evening while holding his chest. The conclusion then was a muscular pain.
