Saeed Anwar's new National record
Atul Kahate - 25 March 1999

Saeed Anwar has created a new record for Pakistan in Limited Overs International (LOI) cricket. His 95 not only took his career aggregate to over 6,000 runs: he also won the man of the match award. This was Anwar's 20th award, a national record. Thus, he overtakes the long-standing record for Pakistan, held by Javed Miandad for winning the most match awards (19) in a career.

For the record, the world record for the most awards is shared by Viv Richards (WI) and Sachin Tendulkar (Ind) - 31 each. The following table lists the Pakistani awards.
