The first hundred for Bangladesh
Atul Kahate - 26 March 1999

Mehrab Hossain has become the first batsman for Bangladesh to score a hundred in Limited Overs International (LOI) cricket with his 101 against Zimbabwe on 25 March. Bangladesh had played their first LOI match on 31 March 1986. Thus, it took almost 13 years for anybody from that country to reach this mark. They have played only 30 matches during this period.

The following table lists the first hundred for each team in LOI matches.
