President's College, Rajagiriya and Lumbini MV won their respective first round matches of the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association conducted Elephant Lemonade Trophy inter-school limited over knock-out tournament played in Colombo yesterday.

President's College beat Rajakeeya MV, Panadura by 81 runs at Rajagiriya while Lumbini MV had a comfortable eight-wicket win over Asoka Vidyalaya at Colts grounds, Havelock Park. President's College and Lumbini will now move into the pre-quarter finals, along with S. Thomas', Ananda and Nalanda who won their respective round one matches played yesterday.

At Rajagiriya:

President's College beat Rajakeeya MV by 81 runs.

President College 258 for 9 in 50 overs.
Rajakeeya MV, Panadura 177 all out in 25.5 overs.

At Havelock Park:

Lumbini MV beat Asoka Vidyalaya by eight wickets.

Asoka Vidyalaya 90 all out in 38 overs.
Lumbini 95 for 2 in 14.4 overs.
