Sir Viv all smiles The Barbados Nation - 27 March 1999 There were many celebrities at Kensington Oval yesterday for the third Test, and Sir Viv Richards was one of them. Dressed in a blue Armani shirt and dark blue slacks, ``the King'' chatted and greeted many of his fans as he strolled around the ground. ``Everyone is saying that various other sports are taking over, but I'd like to believe that if you make a sport interesting enough and exciting enough for the youngsters, I'm quite positive this is one of the areas we could look to test,'' said the Antiguan and former West Indies skipper, as he looked around a sell-out Kensington Oval. Richards, who is the West Indies all-time leading batsman with 8 540 runs in 121 matches including 24 centuries, was knighted last year by the Antigua government for his services to cricket.
