Thomians 76/9 dec. Petes 124 for 8

Richard Dwight

The ball held sway over the bat in the Thomian-Peterite cricket encounter for S . Thomas' to be spun out to declare at 76 for 9 towards which St. Peter's were 124 for 8 in an evenly poised game which began at Bambalapitiya yesterday.

The Peterites having sent the Thomians to bat made short work of their batting to have them in the hopeless position of 76 for 9 declared.
