WICB calls debriefing session to look at tour The Jamaica Gleaner - 4 February 1999 Manager Clive Lloyd, coach Malcolm Marshall and captain Brian Lara have been invited to Antigua next week for a debriefing session with a panel of West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) officials. The WICB will begin the process of determining how the fortunes of the West Indies team can be reversed after a disastrous tour of South Africa. The WICB's chief executive officer, Stephen Camacho, said the three members of the team management on the tour would submit their reports and then there would be extensive discussion of the tour and related issues. He said the WICB would focus on determining the reasons for the team's poor performance with a view to developing plans for West Indies cricket in the short and long term. Camacho said the board was deeply concerned about the team's performance which resulted in the loss off the Test and one-day series. The WICB meets in full session on Monday, February 22, in Antigua and xthe South Africa tour will be the main topic on the agenda.
