LAHORE, Jan 8: Dr Dan Kiesel has been re-engaged as physiotherapist of the team after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) failed to find a suitable replacement for him.

It has been reliably learnt that Dan Kiesel has been contracted till the end of the World Cricket Cup to be held in Britain in May this year.

He left for Karachi on Friday to rejoin the national cricket camp which was shifted to that city on Wednesday due to inclement weather in Lahore.

Dr Dan Kiesel had resigned from the post of the physiotherapist during the second cricket Test between Pakistan and Zimbabwe held at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The PCB executive council had accepted his resignation but asked Dan Kiesel to continue till his substitute was appointed.

Dr Saleem Moghal from Britain is one of the few physiotherapists considered by the PCB to fill the void but none of them has been found to be worthy of the post.
