Sri Lanka: Skipper Kaushalya guides Trinity to 8-wicket win S M Jiffry Abdeen - 31 January 1999 Trinity's skipper Kaushalya Weeraratne who captured a match bag of 9 for 106 (5 for 45 and 4 for 61) and also scored 45 and 36 not out spearhead his team to an eight-wicket win over Kingswood College in their schools Lemonade Cup cricket tournament match concluded at the Asgiriya Stadium yesterday. Kingswood College once again put up a poor batting performance folding up for 151 thus getting the lions the victory target of 71 in 15 minutes and 20 overs and they achieved this with 4.3 over to spare. For Kingswood spinner Thushara Madanayake capture 5 for 78 but that was not enough to stop the marauding lions from scoring their first win this season. Scores: Kingswood College 108 all out and 151 all out in 61.2 overs 265 mts. (L. Ekanayake 22, V. Senaviratne 16, N. Pushpakumara 30, M. Wattegedera 13, R. Mowsoon 22, Kaushalya Weeraratne 4 for 61, I. Gammanpila 3 for 5, S. Selvakumar 3 for 39). Trinity College 146 for 6 overnight contd. 189 all out in 59 overs 275 mts. (R. Gamage 21, D.
