Lancashire Schools: Lads' first competition
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph - 2 July 1999
Boys from White Ash Special School and Townhouse School, Nelson, took part in a cricket competition held at Preston CC, against teams from Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
The boys did very well in their first competition and finished with two wins and one loss to the eventual winners Cheshire. Their final position was second and they received medals and certificates.
