Dawn Mujib meets Ramiz and Yawar Saeed
The Dawn - 29 July 1999

Lahore, July 28: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee chairman Mujibur Rahman spent a busy day here on Wednesday. He held a joint meeting with the newly-appointed manager of the Pakistan team Yawar Saeed and former Test captain Ramiz Raja.

It has been reliably learnt that the main point discussed during the meeting was consideration on various names for the national selection committee, which Mujibur Rahman has announced to finalise soon. He also discussed the composition of the committee with his advisor Col (retd.) Naushad Ali.

Mujibur Rahman also held a separate meeting with the former Test captain Aamir Sohail.

The ad hoc committee chairman left for Karachi on Wednesday afternoon. For two days (Thursday and Friday), Mujibur Rahman will continue deliberations with cricket lovers in the Sindh capital, including the former Test stars and thereafter he will return to Islamabad. He is expected back in Lahore on Sunday (August 1).
