Emerging cricketers team to leave for Denmark tomorrow The Dawn - 24 July 1999 Lahore, July 23: A Pakistan Emerging cricket team, comprising 14 players and two officials will leave Karachi on July 25 for a three-week tour of Denmark and Holland. A spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee announced on Friday evening that the team would play four matches in Denmark and five matches in Holland during the tour. The team will be led by Muhammad Yasir Arafat and Faisal Iqbal will be his deputy. Saadat Saeed Chaudhary is accompanying the team as manger and Muhammad Qasim Kurd as assistant manager. The composition of the team which includes just one Test played in Imran Nazir is: Yasir Arafat (captain) (RDCA), Faisal Iqbal (vice-captain) (KCCA), Imran Khan (KCCA), Kashif Siddique(LCCA), Jan Nisar Khan (PDCA), Imran Farhat (LCCA), Wasif Ali (LCCA), Danish Kaneria (KCCA), Yasir Bashir (LDCA), Faisal Athar Syed (HDCA), Imran Nazir (LCCA), Atiquz Zaman (KCCA), Zaheer Ahmar Khan (LDCA) and Javed Nauman (NDFC).
