The present composition of the Executive Committee of the UCBSA, comprises of a president, vice president, treasurer and eight members, elected by nominees from provinces, is to be revised. The old system had its drawbacks in that some provinces had more that one delegate on the Exco while others had no representation. The constitution of the UCBSA has been therefor been revised to ensure more equitable provincial representation on its executive committee.

Under the terms of the new constitution each of the 11 affiliated provinces will be entitled to nominate one delegate from their constituency to serve on the Exco. The 11 will then elect a president, vice president and treasurer plus three black Africans to bring the number to 17. Within the 17 members a management committee of seven will be appointed.
