The Barbados Nation - 3 July 1999

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Pat Rousseau will head a three-member delegation attending the Caricom Heads of Government meeting in Trinidad.

Rousseau, along with vice-president Clarvis Joseph and chief executive officer Steve Camacho, will meet with the Caricom cricket sub-committee tomorrow.

Camacho said that the meeting would focus on the future of cricket in the region and how Caricom governments could assist in its development, as well as the World Cup in 2007, which is to be hosted by the West Indies.

The Caricom cricket sub-committee is chaired by Antiguan Prime Minister Lester Bird and also includes Owen Arthur of Barbados, Percival J. Patterson of Jamaica, Edison James of Dominica, Keith Mitchell of Grenada and Basdeo Panday of Trinidad and Tobago.
