Dutch Wins Second XI Player of the Year Award ECB Media Release - 3 November 1999
Keith Dutch of Middlesex has won the 1999 Second XI Player of the Year Award. Dutch, 26, a right-hand middle order bat and off-spinner helped Middlesex to the 1999 Second XI Championship playing 12 innings in his eight matches and scoring a total of 588 runs at an average of 65.33. He struck two centuries including an unbeaten 193, his highest score. Dutch also took 36 wickets in Championship games at an average of 17.97 including three five-wicket hauls. He played six Aon Trophy matches scoring 250 runs at an average of 50. His highest score was 115*. Dutch also bagged nine wickets in Trophy games at an average of 19.88. Dutch is from Harrow in Middlesex and made his debut for the county in 1993. He toured Central and East Africa with MCC in 1997 and has played club cricket in South Africa and Australia.
