Arun Kumar leads India A's spirited reply

Georgetown: J Arun Kumar hit an unbeaten 94 as the touring India A team did well to score 197 for four wickets at stumps on the second day of their three day match against Guyana at Bourda here on Thursday.

Earlier, Guyana were all out for 222 in their first innings. Azeemual Hanif was the top scorer with 60 while Narsingh Deonarine, who was 39 overnight, made 52. Left arm spinner S Sriram was the most successful bowler taking four for 26.

At stumps on the first day on Wednesday, Guyana were 200 for seven. Sriram, Karthik Murali and Rahul Sanghvi had picked up two wickets each.

For Guyana, Stuart took three of the four Indian wickets to fall for 43 runs.
